Chittagong- -– Day’s trading at Chittagong Stock Exchange closed higher yesterday (Saturday) with the gainers dominating the losers.

The CSE All Share Price Index rose by 10.04 points or 0.75 percent to close at 1347.40 points from Thursday’s 1337.37 points.

The CSE Selective Index also gained 11.71 points or 0.87 per cent to close at 1352.91 points yesterday.

Of the 60 listed securities traded yesterday, 45 gained, seven declined and eight remained unchanged.

Some 1,218,564 shares and debentures valued at Tk 4.04 crore were transacted against 1,026,815 shares worth Tk 3.21 crore on the previous trading day.

Beximco Pharma (146,250), Paragon Leather (109,350), Sinobangla (419,500), Miracle Industries (118,000) and AIMS (192,500) were the volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 55.40 billion from Tk 55.03 billion Thursday.
